After a traumatic childhood event, Taylor mistrusted doctors, and he even refused to move for an ambulance in traffic. This attitude almost cost him dearly.
At dinner, Polly, Taylor’s wife, pleaded for a nanny, saying, “I can’t handle three kids, my job, and the house.” Taylor refused, arguing, “My mother raised me on her own… I grew up to be a millionaire.”
A few days later, Polly fainted, and their son, Mark, called Taylor. Neighbor Mara, a nurse, insisted Polly needed a doctor, but Taylor replied, “Nope. No. Absolutely not.” Though Polly was diagnosed with anemia, Taylor still rejected the idea of hiring a nanny.
In a traffic jam, Taylor blocked an ambulance.
“Sir, please move! I have a kid in the back who needs urgent care!”, The driver pleaded.
However, Taylor refused. Later, he learned his son was in that ambulance.
